Users Are Begining To Trust Information On Social Networks

WebProNews brings us a story about research from Faves.com which indicates that 36 percent of respondents highly trust the information they receive from “friends” on their social networks

That’s a huge statement to make. Highly Trust means a really qualified lead if you can get them to your site! With the proliferation of social networking sites and the increasing popularity of them it’s probably a good time to begin experimenting with advertising on these kinds of networks. Recent announcements from Facebook suggests that the networking sites themselves know the power of this form of advertising too.

I suspect that this trend will continue for some time as the social networking phenomenon really takes root over the next little while. Where it makes sense we’ll be experimenting with social networking sites – and we may just be recommending it for you too!
