  • Facebook Launches Hyper-Local Ads Targeted To People Within A Mile Of A Business: Excellent news for restaurants and storefronts utilizing Facebook Ads (which should be all of you)! Facebook is set to launch hyper-local advertising, allowing businesses to target ads to those who live or were recently within a radius as small as one mile of their business! Better yet, these businesses can even include an optional map tool that will give users directions to their business.

  • LinkedIn Now Shows You Why Someone Viewed Your Profile: LinkedIn recently announced a new feature that will notify users not only when someone has viewed their profile, but also why. In other words, LinkedIn will tell you when certain actions you took (adding a connection, joining a group, etc.) lead to profile view.

Snapchat

  • Snapchat CEO: Ads Are Coming Soon: Time to put your thinking cap on, marketers! If you aren’t already utilizing Snapchat in your marketing efforts, you might want to rethink your strategy. Snapchat ads will be incorporated into its Stories feature, giving users the option as to whether or not they wish to view the ad.
