We all have those friends. You know, the ones who won\u2019t do everything you want all the time. You compromise,\u00a0 but sometimes you really, really want to do your thing. You have to learn to convince your friend. This is where I\u2019m so pleased to have SEO knowledge, where I can take the keyword research skills I use to help my clients optimize their search rankings, and get my friends to do what I want.<\/p>\n

What you want:<\/em> <\/strong>To use your friend as your very own personal trainer.<\/p>\n

Failed Methods:<\/em><\/strong> Begging, complaining about how much you hate the gym, eating an entire cake in front of them.<\/p>\n

Keyword Research: <\/em><\/strong>\u201cIncorrect form\u201d, \u201cneed a spotter\u201d, \u201cnever used this machine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Example: <\/em><\/strong>Do I really need a spotter when I bench press? I\u2019ve never used that machine before, but I know I have incorrect form.<\/p>\n

What will Seal the Deal:<\/em><\/strong> Calling a bench press a machine.<\/p>\n

What you want:<\/em> <\/strong>A reckless night of dancing, fun, and adventure.<\/p>\n

Keyword Research:<\/em> \u201c<\/strong>Bonding session,\u201d \u201cCatch up,\u201d \u201cGrab a Coffee.\u201d<\/p>\n

Failed Methods: <\/em><\/strong>Saying that you\u2019ll help (they know you won\u2019t), opening and closing kitchen cabinets in failed attempts to find snacks, complaining about those store-bought cookies<\/p>\n

Keyword Research:<\/em> <\/strong>\u201cCharity fundraiser,\u201d \u201cPinterest famous,\u201d \u201cBetter than you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Example: <\/em><\/strong>I think Clarisse is Pinterest famous ever since her 24 hour bake-a-thon for that charity fundraiser. Do you ever worry she\u2019ll be better than you one day?<\/p>\n
