Stay on design trends and apply graphic and web design best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and implement guidelines and templates that help streamline the production process.<\/li>\n<li>Meet deadlines, end-user goals and marketing objectives on all projects<\/li>\n<li>Support user experience strategy and innovation. Prototype low and high fidelity interactive concepts. Integrate mid- to large-scale custom projects using HTML\/HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3 and other commonly used code.<\/li>\n<li>Enhance advanced template-based landing pages and microsites. Provide technical recommendations on all projects<\/li>\n<li>Consider and implement SEO best practices<\/li>\n<li>Stay up-to-date with new programming tools, trends, techniques, and best practices. Research and develop solutions for mobile, web, and desktop environments.<\/li>\n<li>Experiment with new interactive web experiences; extend learnings to product development<\/li>\n<li>Propose creative and innovative ideas, while demonstrating an ability to think strategically from a business standpoint<\/li>\n<li>Partner with marketing managers to create high-performing concepts\/solutions for consumer marketing efforts<\/li>\n<li>Offer recommendations on ways to improve concepts\/solutions. Communicate often, openly, clearly and respectfully with peers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"p5\" style=\"color: #ff7e00;\"><span class=\"s3\">Desired Skills and Experience<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Key skills and tools you\u2019ll bring with you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin: 2% 0;\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in web design, multimedia;<\/li>\n<li>1-2 years\u2019 experience with web design and development<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (CS5 +)<\/li>\n<li>Database knowledge with the ability to manipulate large excel files.<\/li>\n<li>Working experience with Javascript and JQuery. Able to create calculators, advanced navigation and custom user experiences<\/li>\n<li>Creating optimized mobile websites using the jQuery UI mobile framework and Themeroller<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with website management, domain transfers and email configuration<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the delivery team on a variety of website projects.<\/li>\n<li>Good organizational skills and able to manage changing priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, WordPress, SQL, XML, action script<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of mobile technologies and responsive web design<\/li>\n<li>Innovative and highly creative<\/li>\n<li>Ability to receive feedback and criticism<\/li>\n<li>Strong team player with interpersonal skills and sense of humour<\/li>\n<li>Strong sense of initiative: self-motivated and eager to grow marked interest in personal and professional development<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"p5\" style=\"color: #ff7e00;\"><span class=\"s3\">Definite Assets:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul style=\"margin: 2% 0;\">\n<li>Liquid Template experience (shopify customization) experience<\/li>\n<li>Able to \u201chand code\u201d valid HTML 5 &amp; CSS, experience working with Bootstrap 3 and other front end frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Experience with with Adobe Photoshop CS6, Illustrator CS6 and Dreamweaver CS6<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with cross and legacy web browser support techniques<\/li>\n<li>Experience within an agency setting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; margin-bottom: 50px;\"><a class=\"button button-bright\" href=\"mailto:careers@hellospark.ca\" target=\"_blank\">Apply<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"We are looking for a results-driven, proven Web Developer with a passion for design to join our team in Toronto, Ontario.
