{"id":3724,"date":"2015-04-28T11:29:22","date_gmt":"2015-04-28T15:29:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hellospark.ca\/?page_id=3724"},"modified":"2015-08-27T09:42:05","modified_gmt":"2015-08-27T13:42:05","slug":"seo-manager","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.hellospark.ca\/en-ca\/careers\/seo-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"SEO Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re looking for an SEO manager to join our team at our Toronto location.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p5\" style=\"color: #ff7e00;\"><span class=\"s3\">Key tasks you\u2019ll spend most of your time on:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul style=\"margin: 2% 0;\">\n<li>Responsible for executing on-site and off-site optimization for client websites<\/li>\n<li>Host training sessions alongside the Director of SEO with internal staff and SEO Coordinators<\/li>\n<li>Managing SEO campaigns and SEO Coordinators<\/li>\n<li>Work directly with the Director of SEO, and Account Managers as a communication bridge between campaign status and strategy<\/li>\n<li>Develop an understanding of the client&#8217;s business to ensure their organic search campaigns are delivering against identified goals<\/li>\n<li>Ensures campaigns are scoped and briefed accurately so that they are delivered on time and on budget<\/li>\n<li>Review SEO campaign components to ensure work is executed accurately<\/li>\n<li>Keep up-to-date with the constantly changing world of search optimization<\/li>\n<li>Tracks performance of campaigns to ensure success against stated KPI&#8217;s<\/li>\n<li>Works with internal and external partners to ensure campaign objectives are met<\/li>\n<li>Execute on-site and off-site optimization for high-level clientele<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"p5\" style=\"color: #ff7e00;\"><span class=\"s3\">Desired Skills and Experience<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Key skills and tools you\u2019ll bring with you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin: 2% 0;\">\n<li>Minimum of 3 years experience in SEO, preferably in an agency<\/li>\n<li>SEO experience with multi-language\/location targeting<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing a team<\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding\/experience in Local SEO campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with core SEO tools like GWT, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog<\/li>\n<li>Regular use of analytics tools to define SEO measures of success and report on performance<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of how website structure affects SEO<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of HTML\/PHP and cutting edge web site design (think parallax, long scrolling)<\/li>\n<li>Google Analytics Certified<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"p5\" style=\"color: #ff7e00;\"><span class=\"s3\">Definite Assets:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul style=\"margin: 2% 0;\">\n<li>Mobile SEO experience<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of enterprise SEO software<\/li>\n<li>Experience as a developer (html, css, javascript)<\/li>\n<li>SEO Experience across multiple industries<\/li>\n<li>Hubspot certified<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong>This is a Toronto based position; only applicants within the Toronto area will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; margin-bottom: 50px;\"><a class=\"button button-bright\" href=\"mailto:careers@hellospark.ca\" target=\"_blank\">Apply<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"We&#8217;re looking for an SEO manager to join our team at our Toronto location.
