SEO Specialist
We are looking for a results-driven, proven SEO Specialist with a passion to succeed to join our team in Austin, Texas.
Key tasks you’ll spend most of your time on:
- Keyword research
- On-page optimization
- Site audits for SEO best practice compliance
- IA and site design recommendations
- Dev consulting to troubleshoot technical SEO issues to find workarounds
- Analyze website data and search patterns to make recommendations for ongoing link building strategies. Coordinate between content writers, online PR, and social media specialists to boost quality in-links
- Local SEO audits, analysis and optimization
- Keep yourself on top of all SEO changes and trends, and report them to management.
- Research competitor SEO metrics (ranks, inbound links, content distribution, social media exposure, on-page optimization, etc.) and make recommendations based on that
Desired Skills and Experience
Key skills and tools you’ll bring with you:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in SEO, preferably in an agency
- Keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Familiar with core SEO tools like GWT, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
- Regular use of analytics tools to define SEO measures of success and report on performance
- Solid understanding of how website structure affects SEO
- Strong knowledge of HTML and cutting edge web site design (think parallax, long scrolling)
Definite Assets:
- Mobile SEO experience
- Working knowledge of Enterprise SEO software
- Experience as a developer (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
