Business Development Manager

We are looking for a self-motivated, sales-driven person who is passionate about digital marketing, and finding unique and compelling solutions to business challenges related to sales and marketing.

Key tasks you’ll spend most of your time on:

  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the company and its product and service offerings
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of primary target client categories and how the products and services of Spark benefit businesses in those categories
  • Understand Sparks sales process, and how to guide new business prospects from initial consideration through to close
  • Contact new business prospects
  • Present to prospects
  • Close new business
  • Other tasks applicable to this position.

Desired Skills and Experience 

Key skills and tools you’ll bring with you:

  • Previous sales experience, in digital/marketing/advertising
  • Knowledge of online marketing – SEO, PPC, Social Media, Email Marketing, Content Marketing, etc.
  • Ability to self-motivate and to produce results within tight timeframes
  • Ability to interface with all required levels at a customer (entry level to senior level executive)
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills and strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
  • Demonstrated team building attributes
  • Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability.
