- Facebook testing rankings on page timelines: In addition to the advent of ratings for all local Facebook pages, admin will now be able to see how they rank in comparison to other local pages in their category. Time to start striving for that #1 ranking!
- A Pinterest tweak could give e-retailers an advantage: A recent coding tweak by Pinterest now allows customers to see a pop-up box on retailer’s sites allowing them to follow the retailer on their site as opposed to leaving the site and going to the retailer’s Pinterest page.
Snapchat
- Snapchat goes local: Firm tests secret ‘stickers’ for your snaps: Snapchat is testing a new location tool, featuring special stickers that can be added to your snaps that unlock when you’re in a specific geographic location. Take a look at the sticker for Brooklyn above.
Vine
- Vine’s New Loop Count Is Perfect For Advertisers: Looking to advertise on Vine? You can now accurately track the effectiveness of your ads with Vine’s loop count – allowing you to see exactly how many times your ad has been viewed, as well as how many times a user is watching your video in a row.
