- Facebook Takes on Snapchat with Slingshot: Facebook is currently developing a new photo and video-sharing app called Slingshot. Slingshot was designed for friends to ‘sling’ photos and videos to each other on the service. I am sure you’re asking, what’s the difference between Snapchat and Slingshot? Slingshot requires users to sling something back before they can view their friend’s shots. What do you think?
- Facebook Reveals New Advertising Updates: Over the next couple of weeks, Facebook will roll out tracking on sites outside of Facebook.com, along with a new option to control the type of ads users see in their newsfeed.

- Google Launches Google My Business: Fantastic news! Google officially launched, Google My Business, a new free tool that allows small businesses to connect with their customers in a much easier way. All under one tool, businesses will be able to update its information on Search, Maps, and Google+, add business photos and a virtual tour, stay on top of reviews, and more!

- Instagram to Go International with Its Advertisng Efforts: Instagram announced this week that in-feed ads will begin rolling out to international users in the coming months.
YouTube
- You’re About to Lose YouTube Subscribers: As of June 16, YouTube is going to remove all suspended accounts. Even though your subscriber count will go down, your list and numbers will be much more meaningful with only real fans remaining.
